Matthew Haffner is a founding partner of Haffner Law Group.
Mr. Haffner is a civil trial attorney with extensive trial experience in virtually all of Southern California’s courts.
With 29 years of litigation experience, Mr. Haffner has secured defense verdicts in multiple wrongful-death, catastrophic injury and multi-million dollar construction defect jury trials. His specialty is jury selection and multi-media presentation of trial evidence. The firm has broadened the practice and now handles both plaintiff and defense litigation, including business disputes, personal injury, employment law, contract law, product liability and construction defect cases.
Mr. Haffner was initially trained in a Los Angeles litigation law firm, before moving to Ventura, where he was a partner in a defense firm. He started his own firm in 1997. Haffner Law Group, a top-tier, boutique litigation law firm, was re-named in 2013.
Mr. Haffner has successfully defended numerous wrongful death cases, as well as catastrophic injury and various significant personal injury trials. He has also conducted several lengthy construction defect trials, as well as property damage and employment and business litigation. He has averaged 3-4 trials per year for over 10 years, at times spending months in trial, and has tried cases in virtually all of the courts in Southern California.
After successfully defending clients in litigation and trial, the firm began accepting plaintiff’s cases and consults both potential plaintiffs and defendants relative to civil exposure for torts and contracts.
